Whether in the workplace, at home with the family, or going about your daily activities the risk of witnessing an accident is ever apparent. This training will provide the skills and knowledge needed to deal with emergency action principles and to recognise common injuries. This training also aims to maximise participation and developing confidence in students to apply their knowledge in practice.
TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT:
Training and assessment will be flexible classroom
based delivery and assessment. Assessment is used to
give you feedback on progress and measure your skills
and knowledge against the training qualification
requirements and those of the industry. During the
assessment process you will be required to provide
evidence of your skills and knowledge through a variety
of methods. This collection of evidence will take place
in the classroom and in simulated emergency situations
and may include: written work, oral questioning and
observation.
Courses commence throughout the year and run for
approximately 2 days (full time) or 4 days (part time).
Where just the Perform CPR component is required,
attendance to the first half-a-day component of the
training is required.
If you have a large group of people wanting to complete
this training, ETEA can arrange for a private course to
be delivered to cater specifically for your group's
requirements at your premises. Please contact ETEA for
