This qualification will provide you with comprehensive skills and knowledge to work with people who have disabilities (sensory, multiple, intellectual or acquired) in community-based or residential environments. This course will equip you to provide training and support to people with disabilities which enhance their ability to achieve greater levels of independence and community participation.
Workers involved in this role are usually also involved in the service delivery, either direct client work / or community development projects. Workers at this level have responsibility for the supervision of other staff and volunteers.
