CHC41408 - Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention
(Child Protection)
This qualification is designed to provide skills and knowledge needed to commence a career in Protective Care which
involves working with children and young people at risk due to care and protection concerns.
Protective Care work involves providing daily support to children and young people at risk. Duties may include but are not limited
to case management, providing appropriate services for young people and supporting transition from care.
Students will learn to develop their understanding of culture, to support the development of children and how to work with local
communities in the provision of services and transitioning young people from care.
