CHC41408 - Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and our of home care)
This qualification is designed to provide skills and knowledge needed to commence a career in Protective Care. Residential
and Out of Home Care work involves providing daily support to children and young people at risk.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carry out activities related to maintenance of a child or young person at risk, personal care and/or other activities of living
- Providing appropriate services for young people.
- May provide out of home care
- Reporting directly to a supervisor and may at times be partially responsible for providing support to other workers
